Political Power
Welcome to Women of Color Create.
Our country is walking on the edge of a very real brink in which womxn of color will inevitably feel the effects first and most. As a response, we decided to gather and list every woc running for elected office this November. We’re hoping to focus our efforts, resources, and voices around each of these races and make a difference.
We will be featuring them, along with their stories and platforms on our Instagram from now until November 6. If you spot a candidate from your state or district and are able to volunteer on her campaign in any way, please do it. If not, throw some financial support their way — maybe pledge to send each womxn 5 dollars between now and November 6th. Whatever you got, every bit helps.
Join us in amplifying these womxn with any means we have, from our voices and platforms to our pocketbooks and hard work. Lay claim to creative political power. And your sisters, too.
